As a young boy, Terry was fascinated by the geometry and devotional art of the stained glass windows, so illuminated on some Sunday mornings, that life came to the figures and power to the image. 

Tweaking the normal fashions of diamond cutting to embrace more the fusion of facets and meaning and to invoke that power, the Cross Cut came into being.

Without meaning, a diamond is a pretty rock out of the ground, but cut into a sort of 'totem', a thing invested with the beliefs and hopes of a devotion, it will always be a touchstone proving the value to the owner; the sincerity of the giver.
